CAPTAIN'S LOG

ENTERY #1

Been feeling insane about lighthouse keepers so this site and these short writing snippets are kind of a result of that. There isn't a specific plotline, rhyme, or reason to any of the word vomit herein. It's all just vibes! A lot of it revolves around the concept of lighthouse keepers as solitary guardians of safe harbor, of what it means to be alone while protecting the promise of home, and how expressing love by being a beacon of light affects a person. The playlist you see over there is what I've been listening to for writing inspo whenever I get to thinking about this concept so have a listen, or not. These logs will mainly be me just spewing my own thoughts about the writing itself or expanding on motifs because having them echo around in my brain with no release will drive me to madness. The flood gates have been breached and there's no holding them back.

ENTERY #2

Realized stories and snippets will be scattered about, I kind of want to keep that. Makes me think that all these scraps of writing are written on discarded pages you might find in the lighthouse itself. But, some order should be provided for the readers and semblence of intent. So, here's a little reading guide: The Return

ENTERY #3

Gonna be (finally) overhauling things here and creating some semblence of order. I suppose it's been a bit directionless ever since its original conception. I've been tossed about by the waves for what feels like an eternity, but at last I've washed ashore. The sun is beating down on me, and it is a new day. I'm expanding into a sort of multi-media collection here. The creative fiction writing will be compiled and updated under The Return, Journal Journies (new!!) is a sort of process log of the new Lighthouse themed journal I'm binding. Entry #2 has kind of become obslete, but I can't quite bring my self to discard it entirely so I've compromised with a crossing out of its relevancy. It may be too soon to be saying this...But I'm terribly giddy about what the future holds for this place.
